Sleep to Strange (Archives Only)

WARNING! This podcast uses progressive boredom via silly stories to help adults fall asleep. Pointless meanders, lulling soothing tones and strange asides are used in combination with bedtime tales to distract your racing brain and let you drift off to dreamland. If you are expecting something sane or sensible this might not be for you. It might just blow your mind. Trouble Falling Asleep? Insomnia? Looking for something soothing to quiet your racing mind? If you have trouble falling asleep or need background noise this might be what you are looking for. Plucked from Sleep With Me Podcast these stories are stripped of their introductions giving you 100% pure strange bedtime stories. Bedtime is here. It is time to "Sleep to Strange" Welcome, I'm Dearest Scooter, your new Borefriend. On the "Sleep With me Podcast" an odd man tells strange tales that help dull and lull people to sleep. (that's me) I've always wondered "What if I took off the intros and just posted the stories by themselves?" Wouldn't that be strange?

Sleep With Me is a bedtime story designed to take your mind off of the racing thoughts that keep you awake at night.

As you listen you will find yourself distracted from your worries and drifting off into dreamland..due to the fact the story gets a little bit more boring with each passing minute

This podcast is a little weird, a bit silly and a tad offensive so beware. It is very similar to ASMR or guided meditation bedtime story that slowly carries you off to slumber.

"Sleep With Me" is a groundbreaking podcast created to help you fall asleep. So get in bed, press play and drift off into dreamland.

If you struggle with insomnia or just getting a good night's rest, you've found the podcast for you.

Goodnight moon, goodbye moon, hello Pluto (setup at 16:34 story at 25:32). That is what you will say upon waking up tomorrow unless our heroes, Morely Safer and Derrick, can save us from uncertain doom. Chocolate will be melted, catfish will be confronted and feet will be mentioned. That last thing is a warning. Wrap a ribbon around the old pillow tree but not your real pillow as that would be dangerous. In fact no ribbons in bed. Goodnight.

Don't procrastinate on good sleep, my writers block will be a conduit to a good night's rest. Let my words wrap around you like the softest cellophane grass covered neck pillow you could ever imagine, in purple. Cottontails and coffee will glide across your dreams like an egg across the room on the first day of school. Rest, my sweet listener and check your good sense in with the threshold guardian. Awake and shout Paas, or Kcups!

What could be more soothing than a walking (floating) tour of the ear? If you listen closely you will hear. Gather round the fire and come near. Have no worries and set aside your fear. Nevermind, soon you'll be asleep my dear.

Time for true tales of this podcasters misuse of school clubs, encounters with never nudes and Klingon experts all in a quest for a ride on a plane with a full can of soda. Double Dare will be referenced and South Bend will incorrectly be called French Lick.

This episode has become the flat line circle thing the dude in season one of True Detective talked about. In order to free Aberdeen from his curse I mucked about in the transverse plain. And things stayed boring but also got weird. Not interesting strange just "what the hell" strange.

Can a man become trapped inside his own podcast, and put people to sleep? The answer is duller than you think.
